Virtuos Games is helping Funcom develop Dune: Awakening

With a HQ in Singapore and operating across 21 offices in Asia, Europe, and North America, Virtuos is one of the largest and most recognized content creators of video games and movies in the world.

Founded in 2004, Virtuos has established itself as a key player in the industry, working with major publishers and developers worldwide. The company is renowned for its work on high-profile franchises such as Assassin’s Creed, Final Fantasy, and Star Wars, among others.

Virtuos is recognized for its ability to deliver high-quality game development services across multiple platforms, including consoles, PC, and mobile devices.

The news was shared via a post on the company’s X (formerly Twitter) account. Currently, it is unknown in which areas of Dune: Awakening development Virtuos is supporting Funcom.

Before Virtuos, German studio Nukklear announced its support for the game. The co-development project between Funcom and Nukklear is being supported by a German government grant worth 1.6 million euros. Nukklear is expected to contribute to vehicle/aircraft design and gameplay.
